I have found after using many different kinds of duct tape,the type I am most happy with is the type that is not shiny. I think 3M makes it. I dont know where to buy it for residential use,cause I have only bought it from industrial use. You can find it in any McMaster/Carr catalog,or a Graingers catalog. Its a little pricey, but you will notice a big difference.

3M is the best brand of duct tape. As for the price, every store sells it at a different price.

Lee Valley Tools have duct tape that they claim you can patch a canoe with.It's the original design duct tape and much heavier that what is usually found for sale today.

it's colour silver and they use on heating ducts about 5 -6 dollars it works when somebody takks too much they use over the mouth
