is what the heck is up with these asian parents and muslim parents...like if the son or daughter gets a 80 average on there report card...parent gets upset..IT MUST BE ABOVE 80.....they even scream at she/he sheitt..me i would just be happy getting a 70 average on report card..LOL...i dont understand these families...

Ever notice the large number of Asian valedictorians? While we are running around acting and being stupid, caring about things that are of no value, Asian parents are closely monitoring the academic standings of their kids. I know of a Vietnamese father who put a locked wooden box around the TV set and would not open it until all of his kids homework was completed. I personally know a Chinese doctor who made his son drop out of tennis in high school because the son's grades dipped a little below a 4.0. That boy went on to Harvard and is now a practicing physician.
So, it really pisses you off that foreign parents insist their kids buckle down and study? The thing that should concern you is your poor academic status and improve your study habits as your spelling and grammar clearly indicate you should. I wouldn't brag too much about a 70% average. Many retarded persons are testing at a 70 level. You need to get with it Kid!

That doesn't happen, it's a media myth. I know plenty of asian people wh's parents have never complained about how their children have been assessed at school. When parents complain about hteir children's assessment, has it not occured to you that htey're simply doing it because many parents would?
