No, but they are about as consistant as the weather in Chicago when it comes to who gets punished and how hard.

No, it's impossible to control who wins a race in Nascar. Obviously, there are drivers who are not going to bend to Nascar's rules and just let another driver win a race.

The main thing Nascar controls is who gets punished if they did not follow the rules/regulations and how severly they get punished.

Though they say NASCAR does not then why does NASCAR bend the rules so selective drivers are in the chase. What the hell is the chase? The chase starts at Daytona and ends at Homestead. But no NASCAR rigs the racing so that the "WALL STREET"drivers win.

Nope, it all has to do with a point system, spotters, and rules. Those three things determine who wins. The point system tells you how many points you received after a race, and change depending on your position. The spotters make sure your car is in good shape (so it's a racing shape) and help you make sure you go to the right pit box, etc. The rules help guide you with what is acceptable and what isn't. Penalties, of course, hurt your point standings.

Of course they do. Nascar is the WWF of racing. If the cars get to strung out one of the back markers has a crash to bring the field togther. And just like wrestling the fans are rabid and freak when someone says its fake.

Well... they don't give penalties for impeding in qualifying or in the race, as I heard.

I'm a Formula 1 fan, but I hate it when the FIA shows it wants to give Schumacher an advantage. I just hope this doesn't happen in other motorsports.

That would be pretty difficult. If they indeed did things to control the winner, don't you think the other teams would be saying something? I know it appears at times that things are working that way, but I think it would be pretty difficult to prove they rig races.

No, how could they? Forty some cars on the grid, and wrecks galore, it's impossible to fix.

No, how could they do that? I think that it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to fix a race.
