There are probably what is called light opera companies in your area, or drama clubs, they usually are happy to have volunteers. You can audition for parts and get some experience in how that is done with some of these kinds of groups. They do not pay but they also do not charge. When you have some experience (you can also do the drama clubs at whatever school you attend) then you can think about putting together a portfolio. I would try to find a good photographer who is just starting out for that.. maybe even a student of photography... and do a trade where you are the model for his/her photography assignment and you get some prints for your portfolio.
Finding an agent will be far easier if you already have some experience and a decent portfolio. Classes in acting are always a good idea as there is always more to learn. If you can find them for free or very low cost all the better.. but the real teacher is experience so keep auditioning for all the local play houses in your area and then learn from the others you are working with.

You're going to have to get on the grind, hardbody. Basically speaking. Get a publicist, get exposed, and make a name for yourself slowly but surely. If your talent is truly unique people will contact you. Stay up on castings, and attend them regularly, if fortune smiles on you, you may be the next one on hollywood blvd.
