and spread rumors? I heard 3 untrue things about myself today!! Not that I take it seriously, actually it's kinda amusing.

Human nature. Most people are bored at work so they find something to amuse themselves with. I would only worry if the rumors were true! Otherwise, let them make you larger than life. Might as well be a celebrity somewhere.

Your co-workers have no life outside of work so all they can do is try to stir up crap about you...Take this advise, if the rumors about you at work are designed to get you in trouble with the boss, then start looking for a new job. Don't stick around to see what's going to happen. I did that once and found myself fired for no good reason at all. So, watch your back around these kinds of people.
