Hi there,
I'm currently teaching writing skills to an easily distracted 13 year old boy. I would start small if I were you: make a spider diagram of all the points you want to include, then over the days and weeks add to the diagram until you have lots of material and it is suddenly so irresistible that you want to write the story. Even if you stop halfway, you will still have a good story plan to come back to and work on in the future.
All the best,

An easily distracted person can write a story by taking it a step at a time. If you get restless, get up and do something else, while all the while thinking of things to write. If something comes to mind, go and write it, who knows you may go into a powerful creative wave and finish the whole thing! Either way, after you've written what you've wanted to, do it again. Go up and do something else, and when you think of something, come back and write more. Eventually you'll finish!

As an easily distracted person, I can tell you that if you take small steps, take notes when you have a good idea, or keep a diary, your ideas will at least be written down. As you go along, your ideas will start to come together and you can draft. If it doesn't work out, there's a procrastinator's meeting soon. Procrastinators UNITE!...Tomorrow. BTW, your name sound like Paris Hilton, did you mean to make it that way?

If you are easily distracted, you can only finish something if you are very persistent. Go back to it, over and over, until it is ready to publish. So what if it takes you a long time to write it? If it is worthwhile, it is worthwhile.
