Oy, what answers! If this discharge looks like cottage cheese and has a foul smell, you have a yeast infection and Monistat (available OTC) will clear it up. It's fairly common. Follow directions on the box.

However, if it's simply a thick white discharge, it is perfectly normal. It is simply vaginal lubrication, and it tends to stiffen when exposed to air, that's all. It's a sign that you have reached sexual maturity. It's part of your womanhood.

You probably have a yeast infection. Go to your doctor or urgent care and be prepared for a pelvic exam for a proper diagnosis. You will then be given a prescription for medicine to take care of the problem.

Not a yeast infection? I was told that that is how the vagina cleans itself and it is normal to have some discharge. F$%^%& that. I take probiotic's and it worked.
