I'm not sure whether you meant GOOGLE or GOOGOL
A google is what I describe down a paragraph (the search engine)

GOOGOL: A googol, on the other hand, is a very large number.
It is the large number 10^100, that is, the digit 1 followed by one hundred zeros (in decimal representation).

GOOGLE:
http://www.google.com/
Google is a search engine Their mission statement is to "organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful".

Google is a search "engine" - it is designed to help find information stored on the World Wide Web. The search engine allows one to ask for content meeting specific criteria (typically those containing a given word or phrase) and retrieves a list of references that match those criteria.

It's basically an INDEX of the INTERNET!
If you know what Yahoo! Search is, Google is pretty much the same thing, except Google doesn't offer as many extra features like Yahoo. They do have email, but their main focus is their search engine.

Google spelled that way is a search engine.

A googol is a very large number; 10^100, or 1 followed by 100 zeroes.
A googolplex is another large number, 10^(10^100), or 1 followed by a googol zeroes.

In math, 10^10^10. That's 10 raised to the tenth power, raised to the tenth power again. Which gives you a 1 followed by 100 zeroes.
