I think it's for the same reason that people have negative feelings toward any other group. "A few bad apples spoil the bunch." The black women who get most of the attention are the ones who draw the attention to themselves. People are drawn to watching negative behavior, like being loud or boisterous. A lot of the black women you see in videos and such act like they have no self respect. Since this is what many people see, this is how they view the lot. It is by no means right. My neighbor is always yelling at her boyfriend out in the street and climbing on the hood of his car and throwing things at him outside...but it doesn't change my view of all black women. People need to recognize individual responsibility. There are plenty of intelligent, confident, beautiful black women. I am white, but married to a black man. I understand that many black men think the way you described above, but not all of them. My husband didn't marry me because he didn't want a black woman. He married me because the color didn't matter to him. He loves black women, but he also loves me... for who I am, not what color my skin is. The same reason I love him. God put all colors of people on this Earth together, but we segregate ourselves. We should be looking at each individual for their own character, not what we stigmatize them to be. Unfortunately, we are imperfect and it doesn't go that way in the world. The only way to change it is to carry yourself in a respectable manner and change people's opinion about you. And raise your children to have self-respect and love and to be blind to colors and stigmas.

Most black men think of going out with white women more of as a status thing and some form of achievement than actually finding them physically attractive, they should be welcome to them as black men make bad partners, husbands and especially fathers (recent UN studies have found that Jamaican men only visit their children when they know they will get sex from the mother) and are destroying black society by their selfish attitudes. Black women deserve better than this and should aim higher, only then can they change this attitude rather than acquiescing to this outmoded form of behaviour. Slim athletic black women with beautiful ebony skin that accentuates their muscles are some of the most beautiful women in the world and are more attractive than pasty flabby white women that most black men prefer as they have a perception that they have somehow achieved something. Black women have been stronger emotionally than black men by bearing the brunt of double opression both as a woman in a sexist black society and historically during the era of racism that was slavery and within the wider framework of contemporary society that defines black culture are being somehow inferior because it is not highbrow enough. Black women need to define a culture not steeped in the sexism of male chauvinism especially the unacceptable face of black male chauvinism and forge a destiny for themselves. It is only through gaining self confidence and understanding that black women will come to be accepted as the Goddesses they are.

When searching for a girl it comes down to personality. I like all races, there are a tendancy for some black women to be overly loud, but so be it. If people dont like that then who cares. You cant please everybody. Race should not be an issue in any circumstance. And by the way Im white, and I find many black women to be attractive. Unfortunately its the society that kinda turns me off, I like rap, but not todays BS. Todays rap sux compared to the great ones of the past gangstarr, Biggy, Tupac, old OutKast. Todays BS is all the same and sends a negative view of life which many people seem to embrace, that turns me off.

I read through the answers...
All of them only concieve of AMERICAN black people and/or women.
Or don't Africans count? If you didn't mean to include Africans then I beg your pardon, but it's not in our culture to marry "outsiders" and while these marriages do happen, they are rarely well-regarded or successful.
My point? Black women are not the least desired by ALL MEN, unless your concept of men is the AMERICAN MEDIA. Lots of African Americans only know what the media shows them, as do other Americans. If you or anyone else knows or would learn more about various Black cultures then you'd know there's no cause for concern.
Lastly according the the US census, college educated black men overwhelmingly marry black women. So the avoidance of Black women is something uneducated (& probably self-hating) Black men do.
Trust me. Don't believe the MISinformation. One Love.

I have known black women say the same things about black men. I am a white male that finds some black women attractive. There are a couple that I work with that I find extremely attractive. I think you are right in your assumptions though.

that is not difficult in any respect. i'm notably laid back with just about all human beings and that i actually be attentive to we are actually not the least needed. If my stories are any indicator, black women individuals are very "in." perhaps some black women individuals assume different races of fellows are not drawn to them, that's gloomy. They placed off a strange vibe from the get bypass and it turns men off. in the event that they simply knew that those men might unquestionably like to get to be attentive to them, they might locate that Prince appealing they have been finding for. As a fly on the wall in many situations, i will firmly say that white men, for the main section, have not got qualms approximately relationship interracially.

Is there any woman that knows what she wants ?? (kidding) And if you want some noise, try the Greeks! I always say that next lifetime I want to spend it as a black woman, because they are gifted - complexion, body, voice... I guess they speak nonsense because they think something different that appears exotic to them is actually going to BE different also !! what can I say, I have no clue! Human nature is the same everywhere you look, the sooner they get it, the less disappointment for them.
p.s. just saw the a** comment, texasboy, God you are so right! I hate my f***** genes!

I'm sorry but if I am to be honest then I have to say yes. Black women are probably the least desired of all the races. One reason is the behavior. Many black women are too aggressive and that isn't a trait that is attractive to a male. Another is the looks. Dark skin is not seen as pretty to many people and black women have the darkest skin of any of the races. (Dark skinned ones). Also the physical features of black women is more masculine looking and men like delicate small features on a woman. The hair is the final blow. Black hair is usually short, dry, and nappy, which is why so many black women wear weaves, wigs, and press/relax their hair. The hair though has been covered by these so it isn't as much of a problem.
From my experiences and knowledge, the darker a black woman, t he less she is desired by men. My sister is darker, not really dark, but brown skinned. My other sister is lighter skinned. Even though my light skinned fine featured sister is more of a ***** she was always the one that had the guys going after her. From my own experience, looking multi-racial has guys hitting on me more so than they do on black women. There is definitely prejudice against black women and some come to hate themselves and how they look. It is sad and it is unfair but it is true. Not even black men want to date black women. They look for women light bright and almost if not white. It sucks.
I was fortunate enough to find a guy, (white) that loves me for me, and he actually loves my nappy hair! Who knew it was possible! He loves me because i am different but am just like any other human being of any other race, accept that I am more humble and nonjudgmental of others.

Black women are no different than any other race. There are loud people in any race.
Less attractive physically?....you must be kidding.
And most important...ALL women of ANY race have no idea what they want.
Where I work the employees are 75 percent women. I can't date any of them because I'm a manager.
The girl (that works there) I would love to date is cute, funny, a good listener and a great mom to her kids and black.
Oh. plus she has a great a** !!!

I think that is a gross generalisation. There are plenty of well educated, attractive and switched on black women. I know lots. Guys are as different as women are and each has their preference. I don't think that they are least desired at all.
