Killing people with guns who want to kill us first is apparently bad, killing innocent and completely helpless unborn is just ducky though. I don't even pretend to understand the thought processes behind such absurdities.

Pro-choice people do not support abortion and never have, we support the right of a woman have control of her own body. The Anti-choice people are not pro-life, since they support capital punishment, torture, and the ongoing slaughter of civilian women and children in Iraq. In an ideal world every abortion clinic in the country would close down through lack of use, but the anti-choice people also oppose sex education and birth control, so un-planned pregnancies will remain a fact of life as long as they have the power to ensure them. For the record I'm not a Democrat or a Feminist, and I spent 20 years in the U.S. military from the tail end of Nam through Desert Storm, so don't call me a liberal, and don't try and claim I don't love my country, as you anti-choicers always do when your beloved Iraqi war is questioned. You people have no grasp of reality, that is why nothing you try works, ever has worked, or is ever likely to work. You banned alcohol, all you accomplished was to make the bootleggers rich. You banned drugs, the drug lords got rich. If a woman wants an abortion she'll get one, banning it won't work any more than banning drugs and alcohol did, all you'll accomplish is that instead of safe procedure by a doctor in a clinic, she'll get it with a coat hangar in an alley. Being pro-life you would doubtless be glad to see the mother die as well as the child.

Actually as a Dem i support the death penalty. you blind and deaf Republicans have it all wrong! I think most people support pro-choice, the freedom to choose what happens to your body. you jack asses bring up the same old crap every night.! If abortion was illegal your gf,wives and daughters would go to some one who is a professional republican second rate lobbyist. That does the back ally abortion thing at night. with unclean utensils and a medical degree from a cracker jack box. Infection sets in and your wife, cousin, sister what ever,dies because of a botched abortion! why? because the sheep finally over turned roe v wade. how would you feel then? that's why abortion is legal so we don't have that scenario i just described. and don't say its just Dem's that do it because i can name a couple far right conservatives that have paid for there very own daughters.

well in there defence, they voted for the war before they voted against it, they love to support both sides of the argument, and they really think they can do it to.
in respect to the first answerer, there is a difference between an unborn shild who has the potential to be the next mozart or einstien. and the person who has already demonstrated he is the next jack the ripper.
There is no prison in the us that is escape proof,

It is a womans right to choose whether she carries the pregnancy to full term.I believe that choice is a woman's choice. It's between a woman, God and her doctor.
Killing because of war etc cannot be compared to abortion. Personal, private childbearing decisions belong to a woman and whomever she chooses to consult, no one else, especially not with politicians - it is her life, her body, her choice; and, since anti-choice politicians have firmly taken control of both houses of Congress, the White House and a majority of state houses are at work to pass legislation to restrict or even take away a woman's right to choose and to turn back the clock on reproductive freedom.

Democrats are just two-faced......they want it both ways.
Republicans are against abortion because the baby is
"innocent" and for death penalty because the murderer
is "guilty" - quite a big difference here and very good
reasoning.

Are you talking about ‘not killing’ Osama Bin-Laden? - I say kill the pig.
The terrorists who attacked us? – I say kill the ones who are still alive?

Now, if you are talking about sick, stupid, immoral, illegal killing out of a general hatred of mankind that conservatives support like:
- ‘not killing’ maybe 100,000 innocent Iraqi’s? – I am against the conservative position that favors killing them.
- ‘not killing’ thousands of American soldiers? – I am against the conservative position that favors killing them.
- ‘not killing’ (by neglect and withholding aide from) poorer Americans who lack healthcare or even decent food to eat and shelter? – I am against the conservative position that favors killing them.
- ‘not supporting’ ruthless dictators like Hussein, Amin, Noriega, and Pinochet who are responsible for the torture and death of unknown numbers of people? – I am against the conservative position that favors supporting these dictators.
