can someone explain how to use this Q&A thing?

You're here, and using it. I'd say you're doing ok. You ask, or you answer questions that interest you.
Choose "all categories" or an area of the US, and from the list pick a category or state that you'd find interesting.

Well, you ask a question (minus 5 points)
Pick an answer you like to your questions (plus 3)
repeat until you are at your limit.

give a thumbs up after you choose best answer, to give the person that gave you the best answer another 1 point..

to report someone, the flag...use that in cases that really really makes your blood boil, and the idiot deserves it. not just for something to do. just remember, everyone here has different opinion's if you don't like how they are, ignore them.

to answer a question, under the question, click the large blue button. when you are done writing what you want, click the "check spelling" and proceed through with that, then below click the preview button....like it? then click the submit button on the page...then it will take you back to the question page, and if you don't like what you see hit "edit" and modify, seen that someone all ready gave that answer? click the delete button. that will minus you the two points that you got when you answered the question.

well..... there r 3 buttons on the top, ASK, ANSWER and DISCOVER. If u wanna ask a Q, then click on ask and follow the directions. If u wanna answer Q's then click the catagory and type away!!!!!!!!! U earn points depending on what activity u do. good luck!
