I'd say young adult. But are you referring to the genre "chick-lit"? If so, that would be in general fiction/literature. Authors like Jennifer Weiner, Sophie Kinsella, and Marian Keyes are examples.

I'm just guessing, because I have not heard of this, but my guess is it's juvenile fiction. That is a genre of its own, and generally books for children and young adults are not further divided except between fiction and non-fiction.

It is more of a "Teen" reference in the libraries.
