Have Labour shot themselves in the foot? Or was TB the only realistic hope they had?

Voted for him the 1st time he ran.........will NEVER vote for him or labour again, haven't they just about done the country in, not that the cons.will be much better but geeeeeeez what a mess they have made of things.

i think of that is going to be perplexing. Tony Blair has been an surprising best Minister, nevertheless no longer all human beings might accept as true with that! The residing standards in Britain have long gone up, unemployment has long gone down. Pensioners get help with their iciness money and faculties are better off. It relies upon who's the subsequent chief and if the British public are clever and vote Labour so as that our prosperity maintains. in my view, i'm hoping Labour does get in.

Well, I would have to say not very likely since the reason Tony Blair is leaving office is his unpopularity, due directly to his close ties with George Bush and Iraq. And if the Head of a party is unpopular, it's very likely he will drag the entire party done with him. Example, in the 1992 election, the USA was not at all happy with the Republican president, George H.W. Bush. This played a role in the election of the Democrat William Jefferson Clinton.
