don't bother with gamestop, you will get lots more money on ebay, because there is a lot of competition for the good merchandise and people go crazy with the bidding. I recently sold some games there and got much more than I expected. why don't you get an estimate from gamestop and also compare against the expected ebay value (go to advanced seach and check off "completed listings only"). Ebay is a lot more work though but at least you won't have to take pictures of them because they have stock photos for the games & movies and they have complete descriptions already in there. Don't forget ebay will take a % of your profits and you will have to pay for putting it up there. Good luck!

Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Sometimes, Gamestop will run a deal if you trade in a certain amount of games they will give you extra store credit. However, the value of the game goes down a good bit if you trade in a game, no matter how new it is or whether it has all manuals or a box. You could pay $60 bucks for a game one day, return it the next and only get store credit equal to $30.
On Ebay, you would probably be able to get a higher return but you would have to deal with people not paying, relisting, and the hassles of shipping. I have never sold a video game on Ebay but I have sold other things.
The decision would totally be yours. I personally trade my games in at a Gamestop or similar and just take the hit.

Moneywise it is better on EBAY. Although heck use the local classifieds and you can set a price better then Gamestop. As to the better deals with Gamestop all I can say is HUH. Even if you are part of their club thing and have a coupon you still get ripped off.

You better off with eBay, since you can get realistic prices for your stuff rather than peanuts at GameStop. Honestly, for what GameStop will give you as trade, you can probably get close to double on eBay.

you would get more money on ebay but it would take longer and you may have to relist them several time but overall you would get more money than if trading into gamestop because they give u 1/4 of what they sell it for

Ebay would not let me sell anything. I registered under one alias. Ebay barred me from doing business. It said I violated ebay terms. I registered under second Alias. Ebay did not ban me. But it delisted my listings after a day or two. It said I violated ebay rules. 99% of ebay business is conducted by ebay managers who have ebay shops and ebay software for making 100's of listings simultaneously and drown your listings. Ebay would not allow you to sell on "buy now basis". All the ebay Managers sell on "buy now" basis. Ebay managers are allowed to sell multiple items. One listing costs about $30. So unless you are allowed to sell atleast 100 items your listing cost would bar you from making any profits to crow about. Actually you'd make a loss. But Id theft is the biggest business on ebay. It happened to me. I was not allowed to do business on ebay. But the people who stole my identity and did business under my name were allowed to. They made multiple listings for which fees were charged to my credit card. Ebay found out the fraudulent listings and refunded my fees except for one or two items that were listed by others under my alias. Ebay is very over rated. I'd never do business with or at ebay.
