need formula to find the middle valua for 3 numbers?

If you have 3 numbers:
suppose there are x1 and x2 and x3
average=(x1+x2+x3)/3
if you have n numbers:
suppose there are x1 and x2 and x3 and .... xn
average=(x1+x2+x3+... xn)/n

Since you didn't give any details, I'm not sure what you're asking. If you have more than one number given, try adding the highest to the lowest, then divide by 2. This will be the average of the two numbers.
