If you think you might have fun there by yourself, then I'd bet that you will definitely have fun. Might be more fun to vacation at the beach or lake or mountains or something, but if Vegas is more your style, nothing wrong with that! Good luck!

Vegas is great for singles. Lots of bars, and gambling of course. But you can also learn how to drive a race car, fly a russian mig jet, take a tour of the Grand Canyon, (check Scenic Airlines for the best rates). There is any type of food you could ever want to try. Don't go see Blue Man group! You can rent a harley to ride around on or maybe you would prefer a Jag or Lambourgini? Check out the old strip at night for the light show.

You should have a blast, no doubt. Although, 5 days sounds exhausting. I live in the city and my roommates are boring and my friends are typical locals who stay off the strip, i.e., I end up going out on the strip solo ALOT.
But one thing never fails, I always meet new people from all over the country. A few of which, I stay in contact with.
As long as you're outgoing, or in my case, a little buzzed - you should have no problem meeting people. Most people are there to have a good time and are very chill.
Think of some of the benefits - you don't have to compromise as to where or what you want to do. Check out all the casinos - hit downtown on one of the nights. It's still a bit run down but lots of fun people.
As for eating out, it's simpler than you think. When my boys are being little biatches and don't want to spend money on a nice dinner, I usually hit Bradley Ogden at Caesars. I eat at the bar and always meet new people to hang out with.
Good luck and have fun out here!

This may sound weird but, a bus touring co. Trafalger is a name of one of them. They do the driving ahnd show you around and you really get to know everyone on the tour. Their not a bunch of old farts either. I recently went on one hey stoppedfrom Colorado down to Las Vegas. They made many interesting stops Grand Canyon and all. There were about 10 younger people on the tour who didn't even know each other before and had a great time. Just look up tour guide bus trips.

I'm a female and spent three nights there alone on a business trip. I LOVED IT!!!
Had a blast, did what I wanted, and Vegas is the easiest place in the world to meet new people. Everyone is friendly in Vegas.
Go and have a good time.

if you are an outgoing person you can have a good time in vegas, you just need to sit at table (like black jack) and strike up conversations, or the bars. 5 days in vegas is too long, 3 is best.

Of course. there are a lot of things to do in las vegas. They even have churches so you can ask forgiveness for all the sins you commit while there.

You'll probably have a great time, just keep your hand on your wallet.
Win a million dollars and wake up in the desert not knowing what happened the night before for me.

Vegas is fun. Vegas is fun with every friend you have. Vegas is fun all on your own. Vegas is fun with your grandma. Vegas would even be fun with green eggs and ham. It's just fun.
