What you are asking is illegal. For a free alternative I suggest using Open Office. It's gives you everything you'll need. http://www.openoffice.org

You buy a product key along with the software. Either go to a store or look online at Amazon or Ebay, you'll be able to buy a legal copy there. Microsoft may be making a lot of money but that doesn't give you the right to steal from them.

As Matt said, there are free alternatives.

If you downloaded from the Internet, I would delete. If you mean installed from a CD, then the Product Key should be on the CD Sleeve.

Great alternatives are OpenOffice from http://www.openoffice.org and AbiWord from http://www.abisource.com both of these are free, and very much like MS Word.

Or, you could go to Microsoft's site, and register for the Beta of Microsoft Office 2007 RC1, you'd be able to use it free until the beta period expires.

There is one other solution you might be interested in. Microsoft does have a free "Word Viewer 2003" that lets you READ word files that others have sent you - but open office works fine, as others have said. For Word and Excel viewers (both small files) go to www.microsoft.com/downloads, search for "word viewer"
