No you are not doomed. Maybe if all parties would get their heads out of there as*** and stop trying to dictate everything. Stop the bull crap and start working together. they are always trying to find something about each party and then go on harping about it for months in the process of spending our money. Nothing will ever be settled but at least try to start compromising..

It left the people in the 60's in support of unions, big government, and a welfare system that makes people need big government. JFK was the last real Democrat we have had. His brother missed the bridge, and the name and money bought his prison term off.
I too look for the lessor of two evils, but the democratic party has nothing but bleeding heart liberals, tax and spend and big government types. Look at Al " In the Lurch" Gore and his group. Trees and insects take priority over mankind.
I think if all the American people could get together, set term limits of 2 terms in federal service, then you cant hold another federal office, except to run for President.
We need to make those so called elected representatives move from their fancy retirement system, to social security and I be they would fix that quick. But, they know we wont stand together cause they keep driving a wedge between the people with there partisan politics.
Go figure, we have the best elected crooks money can buy.

Not that I agree with you about JFK and FDR, but I agree with the concept of voting against someone.
Voted against Kerry.
Southern dems have much more in common with the gop than with the liberal left... Weird the way it works, ain't it?!

It went the path of the Party of Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.
FARRRrrrrrrrr awayyyyy.............................
Now the GOP has Harding, Nixon, Reagan, and the Father and Son Duo, Big Bush and Little Bush! If you tip Jack Abramoff and Tom DeLay good enough for parking your car though, you get a special glimpse of Karl Rove's underwear drawer!
(something says avoid that)

No..............use your head....if you are doing better today than you were 6 years ago and you are making 300,000.00 annually then vote republican. If not, you might want to vote for your own best
interest and vote for some other party.

Only if you are in favor of "substance". If symbolism is all you are interested in, then vote for the Democrats because that is all they ever focus on.

THose days are gone. It is now the Repubocrats.....
choose from the two headed monster, two separate heads with two separate brains, but both certainly from the same body.
We need to oust our corrupt, backstabbing government and everyone needs to vote for the third party leader of their choice.
