Well my boyfriend and I of 3 years broke up 3 weeks ago. And we still see eachother almost everyday. I told him I was happy with just being "friends with benefits" seeing as we both promised eachother 2 months without any sexual contact with other people. We have a really good time when we see eachother, go out for drinks, watch a movie, and we still sleep together. I do still have strong feelings for him but had asked him back before, and he said no, not right now. So I haven't brought it up since, and now I think he wants me back, he calls me about 3 times a day just to see how things are going, and the last call is to say goodnight because he likes my voice to be the last thing he hears. Last night we watched a movie together, and he came to the couch I was on to cuddle. We have been getting along so much better since we quit living together. Should I ask him if he wants to get back together? or wait for him to do it?

You are not really broken up, you are just regressing. You went from living together, now just dating. It sounds like you don't want to be apart from each other. Let it ride out. Take your time this go around and maybe it will work out. You were together for a long time and it is hard to let go of someone who was such a big part of your life.

One word of advice... Don't sell yourself short by offering up friendship with benefits. Obviously you are emotionally attached, and what good can come of a sexual relationship with someone you love if there is no commitment? If he wants to sleep with youl, don't let him use you, and don't use him. It is disrespetful to both parties.

No, you should date someone else. You are not happy with what's happening, and you should take a break from him & leave him to decide what he wants. Why put your life on hold for him? You could drift on like that for years. If the guy cares about you, he wouldn't ask that of you, you are only letting this happen because you think it has to be like this. Give yourself some other options at least.

Maybe you should talk to him about how things are going and see if he is just enjoying the friends with benefits thing or if there is something more there. If you ask him again he might think you are being pushy, so why not just talk about it and ask him how he's feeling.

I'm guessing he got scarred!!! Scared of commitment. Get it straight from him hun, you don't wana be led up the garden path forever. Ask him straight where do you stand. Maybe I am just suspicious but maybe something else is going on....hence this 'break'. Good luck hun!

GIRL DONT DO IT!!!!!!! MAKE HIM ASK YOU, BUT YOU NEED TO LET HIM KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO WAIT AROUND FOR HIM TO DECIDE. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU SAY THAT FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS IS OK, AND NOT GOING TO AFFECT YOU OR HE ( SOME ONE ALWAYS GETS HURT...ALWAYS) ALL IT IS DOING IS PREVENTING YOU FROM MOVING ON AND HEALING...IF YOU ASK ME HE IS PLAYING GAMES WITH YOU, AS LONG AS HE KNOWS YOU WANT HIM, HE WILL KEEP YOU AT ARMS LENGTH ( HE KNOWS YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR HIM WHENEVER AND FOR WHATEVER) IMPOWER YOUR SELF GIRL AND IF HE LOVES YOU AND WANTS YOU HE WILL COME CRAWLING BACK AND IF NOT THEN YOU ARE BETTER OFF WITHOUT HIM.....TRUST ME ON THAT ONE HUN!!!!!

umm.. try to wait a little longer..
if still he won't assure you that he want you back, then try to move on..
coz you may not know it, but you are expecting something from him.. or expecting what's the status right now...
