I have PCOS. We have been ttc consistantly for 1 yr. My periods are irregular except when I am taking Metformin. I have been taking it now for 2 months. My LMP was 8/25 and lasted 3 days. I ovulated 9/7. I had brownish mucous spotting from 9/16 to 9/19(not very much). My period is now 4 days late. Could this have been implantation bleeding? Could I be pregnant? Has anyone else experienced this and been pregnant? When should I test? I'm so afraid to get a BFN so I have been putting off testing. Maybe if someone else has gone through this it would encourage me to test. Thanks for the help and baby dust to all!

Okay. I have PCOS. I have been on and off Metformin for over a year now. A brown mucous could be implantation bleeding or it could be that you are going to miscarry as I did. The miscarriage was not because of the PCOS, it was due to the fetus not developing in a timely manner. Another words something was wrong with it. My best suggestion (only a suggestion) is take a HPT as soon as possible to find out if you are pregnant. If it turn out to be positive I would go to my GYN as soon as possible. I wish you the best of luck!
