omg at our homecoming there was this guy who was trying wayyyyyyyyyy to hard and i thought he was gonna crush my toes...so dont try not doing anything to crazy or impressive or somthing that'll get peoples bad attention, just normal...your a guy it doesnt have to be good but there was a guy at my homecoming who got drunk or put a few drinks in him so he could have more of a good time and dance better which worked lol dont tell anyone youve had any though...mouthwash it lol
or just kinda grab a girl and give some floor action, or jump into a tight crowd ...watch other guys moves

slow dance or fast. Slow dance, best thing is hands on girls hips her arms on your shoulders. Fast, just whatever the music makes you feel, within reason... don't dance like carelton from the fresh prince of bel-air. HAVE FUN!!!

practice makes perfect, find some fast and slow music and practice, and never be afraid to ask for suggestions and helpful hints from your date, girls actually like that, it is sincere and sweet and probably earn you a hek of alot smooth points, good luck, and big hugs
