I have an assignment to write stating that the moon is a complete hoax, what would be some good arguments that would sound legitimate?

the moon landings were faked by NASA to get government funding....this has been done...in fact, made into a movie...
however, you could extrapolate....
just like a rainbow.....the moon only "seems" to be in the sky...it is an optical illusion of [obviously] astronomical proportions...but an illusion none the less
or
it is a currently blank ad space from an intergalactic species...since earth is in the milky way boondocks...the species hasn't added a new ad slogan for a while.....too little traffic to warrent a big expenditure....pretty soon, they'll come to either tear it down, move it to a more profitable location or replace it with a digitized version....

I personally worked at Kennedy Space Center for 18 years. Let me tell you, the moon landing was NOT a hoax. For anyone that buys the lie that it was a hoax, I have some ocean front property for sale in Idaho if you're interested......
As far as the moon itself being a hoax, consider the effect it has on gravity and the tide.

I probably could have helped you but not sure of your questiono.. IS it that the MOON ITSELF is a hoax or the moon landing was a hoax.. a big difference

I had a grandfather who didn't believe we went to the moon..anyway you could say that the moon landing was faked so that we could make other countries believe the USA was more powerful than it really is.. Wasn't there a movie about that.."Capricorn One" I think, you could watch that and use some ideas from it.

People and equipment have been actually on the hoax
The hoax affects our tides
We can see it most evenings
People have looked at the earth from the hoax

Ask a bunch of questions like Have you ever been there? What does it feel like? what does it really look like?
Then ask your teacher what the heck is the point of this assignment
