I have an older Windows 98 computer and I'm working on upgrading it as a personal project. Now I got it from a Midas car repair shop and I think it had a netowork on it. Because of this if i change just about anything it reconizes that as a registry problem and fixes it right back where it was...!!! >:-/ How do i get rid of this so I can start to change some settings and so I can upgrade things?!

Then make your changes, then reboot again, then turn it back on and that should make it stick...OK
