seems like i answered this last week get a tube of super glue
apply it to the scratched area take a rubber spatula and smooth it
into the scratch. when the glue dries(give it a day to be sure),
trim any excess off with a razor blade.

It's cheaper to replace the glass. Really. Buffing and polishing glass is an expensive and time-consuming process, and you have to remove the glass to do it anyway. Most people just replace it or live with it...

Rubbing compound works for small scratches. You can find it at Wal-Mart or a auto parts store.
