Last week, I took my 1 year old baby to the peditrician. As i was waiting, i started talking with another mom who was waiting also. Her daughter was 4 years old and she was only 16 years old!!! I couldn't believe it! What do you think about that?

It means she was only about 11 when she conceived the child. She was foolish and/or ignorant, and it is a mistake she will now have to live with for the rest of her life, and a life she probably would not have chosen had she known otherwise. But all things happen for a good reason in life, even though we can't always understand what could be good about the current situations we are in.

I'm 17, and I think it's sad girls having kids so young. While the girl should have known not to have sex, she can't be entirely blamed because the guy she was with was part of it too. I give her a lot of credit for being responsible enough to care for her child instead of getting an abortion, giving it up for adoption, or pawning the child off on a family member. I hope that her daughter has a good life, because I know it's not easy.

Well to say the least things happen to younger girls whether they want them to or not. The most important thing is that the girl takes care of her child and doesnt leave her daughter for everyone else to raise. I have a four year old neice that I take care of all the time and I'm only twenty. But I do it because her mom who is 18 right now is incapable to handle such a big responsiblilty.

No offence, but none of u guys should call her a whore...cus u dont know wht she went through...u cant just right away asume shes a whore. She probably has the condom split and seriously wht 12 yr old takes birth control none of u can say something to tht. Shes 16 now she prob never even meant to have the baby for all you guys know she was just a confused presured little girl.
and another thing i respefct her for keeping the baby. =]

I think I'm glad I didn't meet someone like that when I was 13...lol
But seriously, it's sad. I met a Girl that was 22 and she already had 4 kids and the oldest was 7... I guess she never learned.
Anyone can make a mistake..... but to do the same thing over ad over expecting different results...well thats just crazy.

Well for one, maybe she made a terrible mistake, or even worse, was taken advantage of. My friend told me that in one case of rape a girl concieved a child, and the worse thing was that it was her fathers! I mean, come on, this is so horrible and happening around us everyday. Had I been you, I would have gotten her number, and offered if she ever needed to ask any questions or needed advice, to call me, and just tried to be a friend and offer to help her be the best mother she could be for the sake of the child. You never know why God put you there to meet her, and you could be the best example in life she could hope for, as it could do wonders for her to talk to you and learn from you! Good luck!

well 4 1 her mom should take parenting classes the boy who did it should be shot are at least castrated , things like this do happen every day but it takes parents with dam brains 2 prevent the **** . and she is not a whore because most of us have sex on the first date and men are even worse they will lay with anything with hair around it so thats the end of that the girl just needed guidance

I know that many people will say that shes a whore, how would they know? It happens everyday to many girls, especially at the age of 12. As a 16 yearold, I admire her for surviving so far with a child. She took on a huge responsiblility at a very young age

someone has commited a criminal offence here, and no-one cares enough about a 12 yr old child to do anything about it. she's been abused, assaulted and made pregnant before she's old enough to buy tobacco. if she'd tried to buy tobacco she'd have been refused for being underage, if she stayed off school her parents (parents?) would have been prosecuted, she was even too young to babysit at 12, but someone has had unlawful, underage sex with her and got away with it yet it would be easy to prove who it was. what do i think? i think the government and its agencies have much to answer to as they're merrily going along leaving ruined lives in their wake.

This is not so acceptable as it was once. In years past the age of accountability was much lower in many parts of the world. In modern times this promotes ignorance and poverty.
