Waxing scar, how long does it last?

I was waxing my upper lip, and ripped off some skin :(
How long does it usually last?
Any sugesstions to help in healing?

Make sure you keep it moisturized and keep the exposed skin clean, it will take forever if you allow it to get infected.

Normally it takes 2 to 3 days to fully heal. I've never had it last longer than a week, but it was really bad when it lasted that long.
