I think your conscience is your best bet. You know who you are and within what moral standards you can live with yourself within. Better than anyone you should know whether you should or shouldn't be doing something. It's definitely inherrent, but the person you grow to become blurs the line & fills in the gray areas. The serious wrongs aren't necessarily defined by a majority, just their punishments are.

Inside of people is an inherent ability to know right from wrong. Unfortunatly we also function with free will which at times will cause man to chose what is wrong over what is right. Knowing what is right is instinctual and does not need to be defined by society. Due to the will of man, society has had to institute punishments for man chosing wrong, but the doing has nothing to do with the fact that they do know they have chosen wrong over right.

Depends which majority you talk to, some people accept lies, deceit and manipulation, some majorities just dont think it matters at all, and some know the problems involved with things that are just pain and simple wrong and avoid them altogether.

Theres alot of "GREY" in between, I think our insides tell us when we"ve said or done something wrong, I get that sickening feeling in my tummy, whats wrong for you, may be just fine with me, as long as another living person or animal does not get hurt by my choices, I try to do my own thing, we do more harm to our selves anyways

There are a number of different moral philosophies. If you accept one particular moral philosophy, then you could say, "for a Kantian, such and such is right and such and such is wrong." There's moral relativism, relegious moral codes, utilitarianism, egoism etc. Do a search on moral philosophies for more info.

I belief there is no right or wrong only what is right or wrong for you. Meaning do what makes you feel good. That's usually right and don't do what makes you feel bad that's usually wrong.
