How about reading a Bible. Real miracles are happening today's date. I'll give you my example; 3 marriages, 1 baby after 8 years with my last husband. Irregular period, I mean once a year, and didn't know I was pregnant at 40 with a 6 1/2 month baby boy. I though I was getting heavier. I know I have ask for a miracle, years before it happened. But it could not be when I wanted, it needed to be when he decided. Besides that, he is been taking care of me and my baby all this time. And when you kneel down to pray, he answer, only when is really a need...

At first I thought Pam had the answer but then she kind of lost me. The Bible says "Faith" is the evidence of things not seen." In other words we believe even though we may be short on physical evidence. I have had a problem believing simply because the science and religion, (Christianity), seemed at odds. Then I came across an interesting science article on the origin of the universe. It seems, according to the latest physics whiz-kids, That within a split second of the "Big Bang" the universe expanded to just about the size it is now. That suggests we now have all the stars, planets, solar systems, galaxies, constellations, black holes, and on and on, less than a second after this unimaginable explosive release of energy. These same scientists went on to say they have concluded that time and space, the universe, had no beginning. It has just always been in existence.
So, I began to think, is it a stretch to theorize that God made it all happen? The Bible says, quoting God, "I am the Alpha and the Omega." The Beginning and the End. Things began to fall into place then. It is just as easy to believe God created everything as it is to believe the existence of all things is the result of random chance.
So here we are on this little speck of the universe contemplating the infinite. I wonder if God ever laughs?

I Believe in God. The reason: the Universe is constantly expanding & ALL because of energy. As occupiers of this 'Living' Universe & with the 'Realization' of Progression-Regression, I also believe in Evolution and Even 'GOD' continues to grow. When a 'Complete Void' expands &/or contracts (as the universe once was), energy is created- thus: 'GOD'. God is the ipidimy of Energy & Creation, the 1st 1. 'GOD' is 'the Big Bang'. That's why we call our male children; 'SON', as a tribute. Someday- some Genious will (at the same time) create & solve the "Answer of the Ages".. this will be So Profound because we (the universe) will no longer HAVE to HAVE FAITH, Faith will finally be an Established Truth...this WILL be a Happy Day for All because we won't have to Guess Anymore & God can finally Relax because we'll know how to completely Shut-Down Hell!!! Also: Miracles Happen, Prayers are constantly being answered, Exorcisims are still performed- there is no doubt in my mind, "GOD is REAL"!!!

Well, scientific reasons may not be, even if I looked for them. So, in the end, we must resort to unscientific reasons to believe. To be honest, I don't care very much about God, I don't pray, and I try to act as nicest a person (I'm avoiding the term "a Christian person") as I can be. So, I don't believe in God, I only believe in what I can hear, see and touch.

I believe it was CS Lewis that made the reference: I do not believe in the sun because I see it, but by it I see all things. Similarly, I do not believe in God because I see Him, but by Him I see all things. God is evident everywhere you look.

Are you serious? Have you seen Shakira's hips or Angelina Jolie's lips? Is there any more solid proof of a supreme being?
just kidding, kinda... lol.
Truth is...even if you're a scientist and athiest, if you study nature itself and the solar system then you have no choice but to believe in an ultimate creator. Everything didn't just happen and continues to flow in harmony thanks to dumb luck. Sheesh.
