My Mom sat me down at a time when I had other things on my mind. We were starting a kickball game and I was afraid I would miss out on it! I thought she was trying to scare me about some things tho (like you could get pregnant if a guy kissed you - didn't realize she meant cuz a kiss could lead to the other stuff - haha - OK I'm slow)

My parents never told me, they gave me a little book for teens that explained menstruation and how you get pregnant. I was so embarrassed, I would never read the thing, unless I went to the bathroom and locked the door!

Nope...my mom was a prude and my dad was too embarrassed I guess cause I was never told a thing...I had to learn it all by myself...But, I think I did a good job researching that subject!!LOL

My best friend's older sister filled us in when we were like 6. She came home from school and told us what she had learned in health class that day....we laughed and were all grossed out

hahaha lol thats a good way to put it. my parents were just like- oh, wait thats not appropriate for this website. O heck ya i just rolled my eyes, its kinda not smart to wait to tell you until you have tons of guy friends. oh well, i luv my parents theyre fun.

No I learned it at school from my friends that already were doing it. My parents never had that talk with me

The first person I discussed it with was a friend.. then her mom came in and explained more to us.. we were intrigued. I guess she told my parents she discussed it with me. When my mom and dad tried to tell me about it I got irritated and ignored them. Kids never listen to their parents =)
