Sadly, I am not currently reading anything except work-related stuff.

I do have 2 books that I want to read in the near future. One is "The Secret Life of Bees" and the other is "What to Eat" by Dr. Marion Nestle. I want to read the first one b/c a friend gave me the book and said it was very good and she thought I would enjoy it. I want to read the 2nd one b/c it is highly controversial about how the government and food industry basically work together to promote a better bottom line rather than looking out for our health. It is in the genre of "food politics." Sounds interesting to me!

The Theif of Always. By Clive Baker. It is fiction. I had started reading it in 4th grade and then my class assigned books made me put it on hold. So now I am in 10th grade and I am almost finished with it. Haha. It has a house that is magic and I never read these kinds of books and it is pretty good!! I recommend it for kids 11+.

Rain Storm Barry Eisler.

First person based fiction about an assassin... very engrossing and practical to a point where you feel a shiver at the brutal efficiency of killing people.

Monster, by Johnathan Kellerman.
It is a psychological murder mystery, with characters that are very real, and place settings that also feel real.
WHY...I worked only as a landscaper, but I worked at a State run Mental Health Hospital...The background setting made me get up and draw the shades and check the door locks!!!!!!!!!!!!
