"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" can also be varied to "Perfection is only found in the eyes of the beholder" Both are describing the different perspectives that people have on each other. Example: Have you ever had any friends who disagree on whether a girl is hot or not? That's an example..and like some people who like certain people and you don't understand why..we all like something on a guy (i.e. tanned skin or blonde hair) that's beauty to us while someone else will hate tanned skin or blonde hair. So ya hope that helps u.

Let's get the quote right, then you might understand it:
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
What I find beautiful may not be the same to you. If I like tall guys with big brown eyes, you may prefer short blondes with blue eyes. See?

It's actually "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
This mean that different people will find different things beautiful and that the differences of opinion don't matter greatly.

Everyone has a different opinion of what's beautiful. One thing might be beautiful to one person, but ugly to the next.

It means that what you see and find to be beautiful is not the same as what someone else sees as beautiful. it is simply a matter of personal preference and opinion.

the quote is "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
I take it to mean that we all look at things differently so what one thinks is ugly another may think is beautiful..

Genesis 1:21 - So God created great sea creatures and every living thing ... But just as I see beauty in the magpie, so does God see beauty in us.

if you are looking at someone/thing that you consider beautiful and someone else disagrees then you are seeing the beauty. it depends on who is looking.
