Ok, here is the jist. My current husband is 30 years older than me. It didn't use to matter, but now I can't stand to have sex anymore. I don't like the way he smells, I don't like the way he kisses, I just don't want to bother anymore. I don't want to seem shallow and ask for a divorce just because of sex, but I do still have a sex drive and eventually one of us will cheat. I have 2 children and I don't know if I can afford living on my own, but I don't want to stay just because of money.........

For those who asked...I am 30, he is 60. He is not rich, I am not a golddigger, we both have college degrees and careers. I find it interesting that the men are the one's accusing me of golddigging. The "current husband" remark is because he is my second husband. My first husband was an abusing asshole but the father of the two elementary age children I have.

My best advice is to tell him that you're not there to be his bed toy all the time, but to have a loving, caring family who has hopes of raising their kids in a normal life, not listening to their parents going at it every night. Age gaps usually have those kinds of problems, but my grandparents are 10 years apart, yeah, not much of a difference compared to yours, but hey, it's an age gap, and it's big. If he doesn't listen to how you feel, you should definately leave him. Unfortunately life happens, and you have to go with the flow. If you can't afford your kids and you by your own, you'll have to get two jobs, most likely one as a waitress and another real one like a secretary or something at different hours. Normally some parents are done mommying their children when they've grown up, but if you're having financial problems, they should be generous enough to help their own kids, just don't take advantedge of their money in big amounts, if you get me. How old are these children? How old are you?
You can't just pick up and leave if these children are young! However, if these children are 25/30 yrs. of age........suggest a counselor first. If you sincerely try and it doesn't work out........you are young enough to find happiness with someone else. Been there - Done that - It does work!!

Hun have you tryed to talk to him about it, maybe he will try to fix whats bothering you. Maybe try some new things to spice up the sex life a bit that always help. Go on a vac just the two of you, relax see if that would help if you love him don't give up to easy, try everything that you can! Good Luck! ;-)

I think you would be doing your "current husband" a bloody big favour if you got your skanky azz out of his life-you WILL cheat on him at some point...no doubt about it-you are shallow,selfish and are using him to your own ends...i hope your kids don't turn out to be like you-and i sincerely hope your "current husband" finds the peace,happiness and the contentment he deserves,coz he aint gettin any of that off you.

I would talk to him more about it in detail. He does deserve to know. This way you guys can possibly fix things. Try to spice up things. Or if you are just flat out over it all you need to get a divorce.
