The world news. Breakfast. The dog's breakfast. Let dog out. Shave, shower, get dressed. Usually to something New Age/piano solo. Bring dog in. Oops, shoes not polished. Polish shoes. H'm, not awake enough. Dog wants to go out. Let dog out. Which watch today? OK, plain, simple ivory face. Missed a tiny patch near the corner of my jaw. Touch-up (electric shaver). More bad news about the economy. Will the housing bust kick us into a recession? Gawd, that would be awful . (Yes, I heard, Dog.) I mean, the Iraq situation is bad enough as it is, and on top of (let dog in). Then the pope had to being Mohammed into the current situation. It's enough to completely sap my strength. Open whiskey bottle, pour a "neat, stiff one." 1 hour gone.
I'll work from home today. That's the real me.

I am always me... The question to ask in my case is how long does it take for everyone around me to get used to my presence?
If you mean primping and such. Shower takes 20 minutes, drying off and moisturizing takes 10 to 15 minutes, picking out clothes takes about 10 to 15 minutes and make-up takes 20 to 30 minutes and hair takes either 5 or 30 minutes depending on if I am just pulling it back or blow drying and straightening it? All of the above, is depending on where I am going too. If I am just going to the store. Cut out the make- up and the dressing and the blow drying because who cares... it's the store!

I'm not one of these women that take forever getting ready. I have a hairstyle that can be fixed in seconds, I wear very little make up, so give me 30 minutes (I do like to linger in the shower) and I'll be ready to go.

I am me from the moment I crawl out of bed.
I'm not able to make a sentance for 1/2 hour.
I don't look like I should be let out in public for 1/2 hour after that ...

I don't "become" me, I AM me each morning. Brush teeth, wash face, comb hair, put on cloths, out the door, shower in the evening. 10 minutes tops getting ready in the morning.
