I knew someone who did a project about Venus Fly Traps,, tons of research out there and kids love to see the plants open and shut, however as it worked out, the plant died.. so the project changed, which offered a different conclusion/hypothesis. The research was continued on how/why the plant dies when it's being handled so frequently. You'd be surprised how they are temper mental, and die in the garden store. Made for an interesting and educational project.
