Hell if I know. Maybe the water pH is off. Maybe the temperature is off. Maybe the filter isn't working right. Maybe the fish are too big to have 9 living in a 10-gallon tank. Any number of things can be wrong.

if there gold fish that could explain it cuz there very touchy...clean the tank often, feed them once a day, and if that doesnt work just wait till they all die and dont have anymore lol (i also had a bad expieriance with fish)

I don't know how long you have had them but make sure the filter, tank, any of the little castles, etc.and the pebbles (if you have them) are clean because they can harbor bacteria and fungi and your fish may have a fungus ... ask the pet store person if your particular fish is prone to any diseases.

I know how that feals. I bought a bunch of fish before and they died in a week. Check the pet store you got them from, they just might have had rotten fish.

That's what fish do. They swim. Then they die.

I had 9 fish and they all died "mysteriously" . Well, actually it turned out my supposedly harmless pink fish ate them all.

Do not wash the tank with soap. Even if you rinse it, the soap is hard to get out and fish don't like it...it can lead to their death.

It must be something in the water or what you haven't added to to the water to protect the fish.

dont just add tap water...you have yo get water conditioner...make sure the water is an appropriate temperature, don't over feed them, and make sure you keep your tank clean BUT DONT USE SOAP.
