My Dr switched me from Ortho Lo to Yasmin because my menstral cycle was too off track so he said start the new pack on the day of your period. My period started on Friday the 15th... Today is Tuesday the 26th and I'm still on it pretty flowingly... 12 days, That is longer than any period I have had, could it be the new birth control? Should I call the Dr?

Yes you should call your doctor.
How much stress are you under? That can effect it too.

You should check with your doctor. 1.He could tell you that this is caused by all the hormones that you are taking in the birth control pills. It will take a little time for your body to get rid of the estrogen or progesterone the pills have. 2.It could also be that those pills are not for you. That happened to me when I switched pills. Still, find out with your doctor just to make sure.

You need to go see your dr. Your hormones are way out of whack. Are you pre-menopausal? That can make you have way long periods. You may need to switch birth control again, which is a pain, but sometimes you have to find the right one.
