if you're burning a CD yes. My friends burns my CDs for me i write a playlist on a piece of paper and they're not all on the same album but they can be whateva you want

Yes it is possible. I know with Rhapsody and other online music as well as stored music in your computer their should be a shuffle button or a button that looks like an arrow going in circles near the top.
