eh.. yes and no....

I believe so... but Science has yet to find a dinosaur that can produce fire... cause that's all a dragon was...

Although they can explain how it could produce fire... the Bombardier beetle has been doing so for a long time...

Dragons were often associated with the devil...

Certain religions (china, babylon) worshipped the dragon.

China believes that their kings could morph into dragons...

And Babylon worshipped a dragon that Daniel killed in the Bible (In the book of Daniel)

Today, people who are evil... and do things like Satanic worship, blood ritual etc... are said through the drinking of blood to change shapes... or morph into a light-colored human/reptile hybrid...

People claim this is what most of the elite politicians/royal families are today... these reptile/hybrids

This goes back to Kings of China and Dragon Gods of Babylon....

So in my opinion.. anything of a dragon nature is Satanic, and never really an actual dragon... but a bad human being posessed....

But dinosaurs.. well they were just lumbering giants who were killed in the great flood...

(I always wanted a flying dog dragon like in The Neverending Story.... "Valkor!!" "Atreiu!!" )

Dragons have always been a part of folk legends and sadly i dont think they ever existed. Personally I believe that the dragon legend itself first existed because of some people finding fossils from dinosaurs, teeth, skulls, claws, etc.. and then fabricated stories from there as to make an explination. Every myth has a bit of truth to it... and thats the closest reasoning I've ever been able to think, other than that theres the Komodo Dragon heh...

Well, people may have killed them off because they imaged them as fiersome creatures. Maybe one person was attacked by one, and was under the impression it was for no reason.

Dragons may have existed as dinosaurs. And as fairy tales tell, in Midevil Times. But, things may be hard to track to way back then.

I am only sure that there is one kind of dragon existing today: the Komodo Dragon.

Not the conventional type of dragon. It's possible that in the past people found the fossilized remains of dinosaurs and came up with the dragons. I.E., if lets say 1000 years ago someone found the fossilized remains or a pterodactyl it's possible that may have been the root cause of the myth.

well bearded dragons, water dragons, komodo dragons. no fire breathing dragons or any ones over like 20 feet in length. Every one of these 3 dragons are pets except for komodo dragons, which are huge and can kill humans

i really do believe that at some point in time they exsisted. think about it. if we had dinosaurs and creatures that could fly then why not them? they have shown on the documentaries of what we have created saying that in many cultures that had no way of speaking to one another, they all have an illustrated version of dragons.
I think in some way there may be some alive, kinda like what they showed in "Reign of Fire" they could very well be dwelling deep into the earth where no man can reach.

If your talking about fire breathing dragons, that goes along the subject of wizards and stuff, than no. but there are some other kinds of reptiles that are named after the dragon.
