How often is too often?............?

When they call, look to a calander. If you don't see a MAJOR holiday that week or a birthday hang up.

Well, daily sounds a bit too often, I would say once a week sounds good, but it's a weird and touchy subject with some people. Do they live in town? Are they across the country? Why do they call? I mean, if they call just to say hi or whatever that's a bit rediculous. LOL!!! If they are getting on your nerves, there is a WONDERFUL device/service called caller ID and personally I wouldn't have any phone without it. Just sceen the calls, take them sometimes, other times you were busy. But always try and return calls. :)

When it starts to feel intrusive, then it is too often. Only you can set that standard. Be fair, but be clear. You can always approach it (to spare their feelings) by saying that you two just need some down time since your lives are so hectic. You need to have a good plan because you don't want this to become a bigger problem than it already is.

every day is too often. once or maybe twice a week would be okay, but I prefer 2 or 3 times a month

They should only be calling a couple of times a week - at the most. Except of course if there is an emergency (defined as serious illness or death).

I guess it depends on how well you get along with them but I think once a week is enough, any more than that is too much!

Everyday is too often... Once a week would be better. Nvr would be even better. lol
