...then things went downhill, real fast?

I sure did then my husband died unexpectedly during a stress test--I was a widow at 40 (he was 54) and helpless. I was lucky I knew my right hand from my left since I depended on him to do practically everything for me. His death for me was a real eye opener. It wasn't until he was gone and I walked into an empty, quiet house that I realized I was all alone in this world and I better not feel sorry for myself and get off my lard *** and learn how to do things for myself.

Yeah, sometimes I think I'm on skis headed straight for the bottom of the hill (man I hope I fall down before I get there)!
