It depends on the graphics and detail. You should call around and even do a resume type thing go look at different places and go on what you see best. Remember you might get what you paid for.

It really depends on the size, how much detail there is and what shop you go to. I have 2 and the smaller one cost more than the big one, but I had it filled in with color. You need to do some calling around in your area and get some prices. Places that I checked in my area had a minimum, which I'm told is usually how it works. Just remember, tattoos are permanent unless you have money coming out the wazoo and can afford to have it removed. Be sure that the art you're thinking of getting is definitely what you want to display for a lifetime.

Many places have a minimum charge. For example, the tattoo place I go to has a minimum price of 50 dollars no matter what the size. I've gotten 3 done there ranging from 70-100 dollars. It depends on the detail, size, and location, and experience.
The best way of figuring out where to go would be to ask around. If you see someone with a tattoo that you like that was very well done, ask them where they got it! It may sound kind of weird to ask random people but they'll love the complement!
Good luck!

It really depends on several factors....what part of the country you live in, AND if you have a good Tatt artist....
New York, San Francisco has many great artists, L.A., San Diego has a GREAT Artist in Ocean Beach, Miami Florida these are the best venue's and they are pricey.......
A full lower across back can run a many hundred dollars up to a thousand or more....a small bird, flower, butterfly stuff like that can be as cheap as 75.00 in a metro area and 30.00 in the mid west...but again check out the artist...that is so important.
I would rather pay 100.00 for a butterfly in New York at a good following artist who knows what he or she is doing, in a CLEAN PLACE, then pay 45.00 somewhere that they don't know what they are doing............
Check out the place in advance. A Good Clean Place will encourage you to look around....look for clean unopened needles like you get at the Doctor's, look for clean inks....

A. When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Yes, there are plenty of people tattooing out there that will ink you cheap, and you'll be crying to a real artist to have it covered up. Look for quality, and be willing to pay for it. NEVER haggle over the price of a tattoo. It is disrespectful to the artist. If you can't pay for quality, don't bother. This is not a bargain bin. It is a piece of art you will wear for life. http://tattoo.about.com/cs/tatfaq/f/tattoocost.htm#
Tatts are a very personal body art and you really want to do your homework as to the best artists, not the cheapest tatts.......
Good Luck and have fun.........

totally depends on size and style. a small "easy" tattoo, maybe the size of a half dollar, could be as cheap as $50 ...but even one a few inches could be around $150+. It really depends on a lot of things...

it all depends on the size, colors, detail, and where you go...
when you go to a tattoo parlor, you would have to ask, because different ones may cost different amounts
