Your best bet would be to contact the local county clerk. Even if they cannot answer you directly, they should be able to tell you whether there are any county ordinances that deal with the issue, and you can then look those laws up.

Depends on the restrictions of the county and the neighborhood. I went through this with a camper once. I contacted the county manager's office and they directed me to who I needed to talk to.
