Stuff in my fridge has to turn green or get fuzz of some kind in order to be thrown away. Blame it on my upbring of not throwing food away because of the poor kids around the world w/o anything to eat(so my mother told me many times)

I used to wait about 2 weeks before throwing it in the dog dish. Then I I asked myself "What did the dog ever do to deserve this" i mean why should i reward him when he doesnt do anything. So to prevent him or the family from getting spoiled from getting something they dont need. I will take one for the team and eat what is left

Good question for me. I mean if it is my frig I wouldn't have anything there I wouldn't eat in the first place. If it was a frig that belonged to my parents then I would ask them how old it is and see if we could either finish it up or throw it out. If it was one belonging to my aunt I wouldn't say anything. Now I with the sibling I live with I help out with the cooking so I can pretty well tell(most of the time anyway) when something needs to be thrown out.

Well there usually are no leftovers at my house because I have four children and two of them are teenagers but if there is something that sits in the fridge for more than two days I know that it probably won't get eaten so I give it to Ace.(my very large outside dog)

Yes, I always wait until it's spoiled or it's grocery day. No sooner do I throw it out then one of the kids comes looking for it.

A refridgerator will shop nutrients chilly for 4 hours in case you do not open the door. Open the door minimally and ingredients like yogurt, milk and orange juice smash quick so i'd propose no longer to devour them in the experience that they have got been contained in the refrigerator without electrical energy for lengthy. an finished freezer holds the chilly for about 40 8 hours and a nil.5-finished holds it for twenty-four hours, in case you've been questioning ;) have relaxing contained in the blackout

Leftovers should be kept 3 days max. I usually don't save anything, just throw it out.
