I mean, it's ok to hear about him sometimes, but ALL the time it gets kinda annoying. I'm not jealous or anything because i have a boyfriend and i love him very much, but i don't go on and on about him to my friends. Why does she do this?

She's just super happy with him! I've caught myself a few times doing the same thing your friend does. In-fact I began to annoy myself a little. She just wants someone to talk to. This is probably the first time she's been this happy in a while. I say for now ... grin and bear it. If it becomes too overwhelming, tell her that you're very happy for her, then change the subject quickly. That way you don't hurt her feelings and you won't go insane listening about "Mr. Perfect."

Because she is in love, and she is not aware that she is being annoying. Take her into other topics, patiently...kindly...go jogging, play tennis, go swimming...go to the movies. Maybe she talks about that because you two haven't been doing anything more interesting or exciting.

She is not sure about him. She is really just trying to get your approval. Or she is the type that thinks she has to be # 1 and nobody else has a better story. You know like if the neighbor buys a new lawn mower your dad has to get one better, that type of thing.

She feels comfortable telling you abt her boyfriend and she trusts you. I kno it can be boring but just be patient with her, she needs to tell u all the qualities abt him so that in case of anything u can support her if the going gets rough.

Is it good talk about your boyfriend? Or is she telling you negative stuff about your boyfriend?
Maybe she never had a boyfriend that treated her the way your boyfriend is treating you.
If it is bad she just might be looking out for your well being.

You are healthy and she is not. Talking about someone else constantly is a sign of codependency. It means that she has no life other than the one she lives through him. Talking of this kind is a symptom of her codependency.

Girls do this to make themselves feel important, and even better than their friends. If it really starts to bug you tell her! I know it's hard but if it is a problem that is affecting your friendship with her than you need to address it!

Chances are he is a loser and she is telling all these things to cover up the fact that she is going out with a loser! He is a loser and she is sticking by him. In essence, making her a loser as well.
