It really depends on what air filter you have.
If it is a washable air filter, such as K&N... just buy the cleaning kit and follow the directions.
If you have a non-washable air filter, such as a OEM filter... you must buy a new one. NEVER BLOW OUT THE FILTER WITH COMPRESSED AIR. You WILL damage the element and make the filter useless (the holes will be too small to see, but will let dirt through).

It would be best to buy a new one..... Like a K&N then you can buy the recharge kits for about $10.... Good Luck!
