one year since I smoked a cigarette. What should I do to celebrate?

I used the patch and my will power. I still think about having one and have even dreamed about smoking, but fight it off all the time. Get's easier as you go. Thanks for all the great comments. My friend who quit before me knew I would. He said "you got to want it!" I did, and love it. Tatoo huh? Hmmmm!

what should you do to celebrate? What a great accomplishment! I like the tattoo idea, kind of a permanent reminder of how much you've accomplished. I've heard of people getting their teeth whitened at the one year mark, joining a gym to work off the excess weight gain from quitting, I've heard of people taking a trip. How about that? Go somewhere you'd like to go, have some time for yourself. It's so richly deserved. Congratulations, again!

congrads and don't get drunk, that's when most people want to smoke...you've likely saved over a $1000 by now so why not treat yourself to a trip to Hawaii...ride the waves and get some sun
