You need to first contact your local or closest "food handlers certification" coordinator. You can contact your public health department for info on that. If you are to sell any food of any kind you must be certified to do so or at least one person working for you must have this certification if you don't desire it yourself, but then plan on paying this person extra for that privilege!

Next you need to contact your city and see if any special licenses are needed to start this business within the city limits.

Have you chosen a name for this business... some states require you to publish this name in the paper to ensure no one else has a problem with it or has it taken already in your area.

Next you need to find a building for this business, either rent it or lease, Fill it with inventory and equipment.

Look for employees (good luck with that one)

Do you have knowledge of your finances and how to budget for things within this business ? If not then start learning !

I could go on but i would be writing a book then !

GOOD LUCK !!! : )
