I'm a freelance writer and have published in newspapers and several magazines. It depends on the topic, publication, and the author's experience. But an article of that length would be on the low end of the pay scale for the publication in question.

Depends on the magazine or other venue in which it will be appearing, amount of research done, etc. Most magazines and newspapers have set rates and you ill have to accept whatever they deem. Generally, it would be about $150.00.

It's not how much you decide to charge, it's how much the publication is willing to pay. The author decides whether to take their offer or not, but you don't put a price tag on it when you submit it for publication.

that is even as the agency has given up on attempting to get the money from you. They write it off of their books as no longer with the flexibility to collect. it truly is a nasty mark on your credit rfile and as far as i comprehend there is not any longer something you should do to make it better effective when they did that
