I have traveled in eastern Europe many times. I have lived in Elblag for a few hours only because I've spent several days in Gdansk which is nearby. Elblag a beautiful port city. I really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to a tourist. It's got a fascinating history, and seems to be a somewhat popular choice for tourists. Maybe most of the 'tourists' were simply day-trippers from Gdansk, but I don't know so much about that.

Nonetheless, it was a nice city.

Hi there - I had a roommate who lived there for a summer abroad at the university. She loved it. I remember her talking about the Gothic architecture in Old Town and how nice and welcoming people were to her. Also that there was a famous brewery there which added to the 19yo single cute girl traveling/living in Europe for the summer adventure. How could it go wrong? =)

No. But a friend of mine, Letchinski (he is a football player in Türkiye) always tells about Elblag. His gf lives there.
