I asked if Superman would be invulnerable to light sabers just because I thought it was funny and I wanted to hear what other people thought, but some people have to take it so seriously. Yes I know it is all fictional, but lighten up. I do appreciate all the nice answers I got and if I was able to I would give them all 10 pts. Thanks for letting me rant.

People take things too seriously sometimes, you have to learn to laugh at it and think to yourself, "What is in that person's mind, is different from what is in my mind."
Superman, to me, has become a joke over the years, to many people he is a joke, so if he is a joke, then let us joke about him.
If that lighsaber that hits Superman is made of Kryptonite, then yes, it could kill him, if not, Superman has nothing to worry about.
A joke I like about Superman, and this one is one that the women will all love: Is Superman really faster than a speeding bullet? *wink, wink* Come on ladies, you all know what I mean.

The ones I have as contacts are full of humor and it is far from dry. At least your questions posted, every time I ask a question about Canadians, Yahoo will not even post them. Some do have a good sense of humor about themselves and a few don't. They are no different from any other nationality or social group on here.

Sometimes people just need to rant.
They get home, their tired and in an ill-mood and they get on the computer. They see something they think is inane or silly and sound off on it. Is it right, no way. But just as you said, they just need to rant to relax and let go of the stress and also, SOME PEOPLE ARE just mean. : ))

Because they are worried that others are going to make fun of them. A lot of the people who yell and scream about fun questions like that are those who really need to lighten up. And are probably guilty of being what they yell about. It seems to me that they are just trying to "beat others to the punch"....

And unless it was a kryptonite laser, I think he would be OK. But it would still make me nervous.
